DOWA ECO-SYSTEM Exhibits at EcoPro 2019: Towards a Sustainable Society
DOWA ECO-SYSTEM CO., LTD. exhibited at EcoPro 2019: Towards a Sustainable Society, one of Japan’s largest environment and energy exhibitions, which took place at Tokyo Big Sight from December 5 to 7.
This year, in order to communicate its message of “DOWA ECO-SYSTEM’s environment business—reducing your waste, and promoting recycle of resources,” the company created a booth that resembled a collection of offal restaurants—offal is an example of something that used to be thrown away in Japan, but is now considered a delicacy.
Stalls designed in the image of DOWA ECO-SYSTEM businesses—such as incinerating and melting, resource recycling, soil remediation, and initiatives towards achieving SDGs—lined a busy square, and approximately 3,500 visitors enjoyed learning through quizzes, games, and hands-on experiences.
Going forward, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM intends to take part in and disseminate information at similar events to promote understanding of the company’s environmental and recycling business, which handle waste and recyclable resources produced by both households and factories.
